'Taco Bout Love'
Updated: Sep 9, 2019
This weekend I was in Atlanta for my brother's engagement party. The theme was 'Taco Bout Love' and can we 'taco bout' talent for a minute?! His fiancé is as crafty as they come and did an amazing job putting the event together. Jen's attention to detail gave the party a very personal touch and easily impressed all of their guests. I am beyond excited to be welcoming a fellow party planner into the family!!

Jeff & Jen (the future Mr & Mrs!)
A skilled letterer, Jen created all of the festive signs for the party and they definitely elevated the event. Be sure to check out her Instagram, @craftymathteacher for other samples of her work, and DM if you are in need of custom signs for your own event!

The color scheme, a fresh take on the theme, was incorporated throughout the decor and favors.

Having to explain "AF" to the parents and grandparents somehow fell on me - it was generally well received.

Guests chowed down on a taco bar filled with adobo chicken, carne asada (steak), carnitas (pork), sauteed vegetables and allll the toppings. Naturally I ate my weight in queso (which they so eloquently labeled "Gringo" on the lid)....I blame my Latin roots.

'Taco Bout Love' was the perfect theme to kick off a fun filled year of wedding festivities! I look forward to sharing in more fabulous parties to celebrate these locos. Olé!
