Citrus Experimentation: Part 2

I was going to post this yesterday, but I saw the Imagine Dragons show Saturday night and the proceeded to spend all of my Sunday re-living the experience - going through photos, watching videos and dancing/singing around the house all afternoon. After that, I was simply too tired. But today I am refreshed and able to focus on tablescapes and centerpieces again!

For the first look I used filled an ice bucket with sliced citrus and topped it with fresh blooms. If you look closely, the ice bucket is engraved with our wedding invitation, a beautiful and unique gift from my husband's cousin. Glasses of citrus sangria went perfectly with this simple design.

In this next look I used whole citrus and a few floral and greenery accents for the centerpiece, then mixed in whole and sliced citrus down the table on top of the greenery place mats. I sprinkled in potpourri pieces, and added cans of blood orange Sanpellegrino to keep with the theme.

I had so much fun working on this project, but do not be fooled, there was a great deal of trail and error. Hopefully Ive taken out some of the guess work for you and inspired you to decorate with citrus this summer.
