Citrus Tablescapes and Centerpieces

Updated: Sep 9, 2019

Yellow is my favorite color. It is so cheery and vibrant and I honestly feel best when I am wearing this bright color! Never really one for prints on my clothing, when I came across a lemon print sundress a few weeks ago, I knew I just had to have it. It is simply delightful and I cannot wait for the perfect occasion to break it out this summer!

In January, we moved into a new house, and now that we are finally settled in, it's time to decorate! Still on a high from the lemon print dress purchase, I've been obsessing over fruity tablescapes and centerpieces to brighten up the kitchen and dining room tables. I love taking to Pinterest and Instagram to get my creative juices flowing and have compiled a list of ideas I'd like to try. Read on for inspiration to decorate your home and liven up your summer dinner parties with refreshing citrus!

Put your citrus to work - use it to display a name card or show it off as the name card itself.

An grapefruit "vase" is not only a showstopper, but amazingly simple to make - see DIY instructions on Style Me Pretty (via The Bloom of Time) and try it for your next dinner party!

Bring the outdoors in with this faux lemon tree. Add fresh blooms from your garden (aka Publix/Harris Teeter) and a crisp Pinot Griogio for a simple, yet elegant vibe.

Add grapefruit and blood oranges into your design for an exquisite pop of color. Tuck in seeded eucalyptus and a few flowers to bring the look all together.

Short on time, or materials? You can still create an tasteful centerpiece with minimal effort - let the color of the citrus take center stage.

If you really want to step up your game, add some citrus dinnerware to your inventory, and never look back.

These juicy and fragrant fruits are so versatile and I am excited to experiment on my own! Stay tuned for updates...
